Easter Part 1
Springtime Fishing
Over Spring Break we took the kids out fishing. At the last minute, KK and Izzy decided to go to Leify's house instead. So Sarah's classmates Patrick Telgen and Ashlyn Allen joined us on the boat. We had a great time, caught more whiting than Momma wanted to clean, plus two sharks. I caught my first shark! Woohoo! The other one was caught by Patrick. He caught his first and showed me how it was done!

Willie caught his first keeper fish, a nice, fat whiting! He even reeled it in with Momma helping to hold the pole. He was super excited! He loves the boat, no problems with getting him into the life vest, either. Catching fish, eating Oreos, what's not to love!?

A Confession
Dear Blogging Gods, It has been one month since my last post. I have been neglectful of my job as Blogmaster. I have not taken pictures like I should have. I have not posted adventures, stories of fun, stories of woe, or anecdotes of any kind. I have slacked on my purposeful writing of my life with four children and a husband. I am truly sorry and I humbly repent. I shall strive not for perfection, but at least for more frequent postings. Sorry 'bout all dat. Amen.
AMEN, sistah! (Brotha, whatevah)

Birthday Parties and Fun
The girls and I, minus Sarah, went to a birthday party at the park for a little friend of ours who turned three. It was a beautiful day, cool and breezy. We had a great time eating pizza and cupcakes and playing at the park!

That smile is so rare! I'm not sure I've even seen all those teeth at one time! See how pretty she is when she smiles?

Play Ball!
Izzy's playing T-ball this year, her first. She's having a great time with the exception of immediately after the first game. She walks up after the game is over and says, Momma, I don't wanna play Tball anymore. I said, but you love tball! She said, yeah, but Momma, those big boys is gonna run me over! Those big boys is gonna get me!
She wasn't kidding, this one boy was as tall as Sarah and much bigger, looked like a fifth grade at 6 yrs old. Thankfully, after much talking about how if she runs fast they won't have a chance to run her down, if she bats hard they won't be able to run her down, etc. she is feeling much better.
My only regret is that I didn't have the camera ready to go. Right before this shot on third base, she was running from second to third with her mouth wide open and tongue hanging out the one side! I swear! I almost fell off the bleachers I laughed so hard! She runs that way every time, it turns out. Hope that's not familial, maybe I should carry a mirror when I walk...
Softball Season Is Here!
We Love Aiden!

Here's a picture of our soon-to-be-home new puppy, Aiden. He's a pointer/terrier mix from a Gainesville rescue group. He's so adorable. We can't bring him home till he is neutered on Wednesday. By that time, he will have also finished a week's worth of antibiotics for a little upper respiratory infection that he got this past week. We are so excited, we can't wait to bring him home. He's 9 weeks old and even Willie is just tickled over him! We haven't decided if we'll keep the name, but if you have any suggestions you know where to find me! The last few days have been filled with the girls randomly saying, I love Aiden! and someone inevitably says, I love him more! I love him the most! I love him infinity! etc. So, here's to Aiden, newest member of the Stephenson family!
